Ruderalis Skunk

ruderalis-skunkBy introducing the auto-flowering feature to Skunk #1’s very dependable strength and yield, Sensi have made a robust, rewarding outdoor hybrid ideal for growers with short and unpredictable summer, such as the United Kingdom. Ruderalis already grows wild in north-eastern Europe and can survive various climates because of its autoflowering trait. Wild Ruderalis plants flower according to age as opposed to a declining photoperiod, which enables them to take advantage of the warmest, brightest part of their short growing season.

Approximately 50% of Ruderalis Skunk plants will auto-flower. Like Ruderalis Indica, blooming starts at the 5th to 7th set of branches – normally within 5-10 weeks of germination, depending on how fast the plants are able to vegetate where they are.

The other half of plants grown from seed will react to the photoperiod, and will be triggered to flower at similar times as strains like Early Girl and Early Skunk. This makes it possible for garden growers to have a double harvest each season with Ruderalis Skunk, and also means that photo-reactive plants will generally finish larger and with a larger yield.
