Kullu MLA Sunder Thakur, for instance, passionately urged the government to consider a policy supporting cannabis cultivation, given its extensive applications in treating serious illnesses like cancer, Parkinson’s, and tumors.
Similarly, Darang MLA Puran Chand Thakur highlighted the abundant barren lands that could be transformed into thriving cannabis farms, providing countless young people with a rewarding source of income.
The experienced former neurosurgeon at IGMC and Churah MLA Dr. Janak Raj also praised the plant’s medicinal uses.
